LW and Intel Mini video performance?

Anyone here do their 3D creating on an Intel-based Mac Mini?

I'm curious as to what it's like working with a scene on one of those...I know the max RAM is 2gb, but what about working with the scene in terms of screen redraw?

Painful?

Not bad?

Could be better, but overall pretty good?

I'm considering a Core 2 Duo Mini; currently using a G4-based mini, so I'm sure it'd be quite a boost for me.

Hi Johnny,

I have one, and frankly I haven't had any problems with it. Then again, I don't get to do much modeling these days (programming has changed my physique). Modeling in LightWave is something I don't get to do much of either, so YMMV.

Should be a boost for you. I use a macbook and I hurt from time to time with hardware accelerated programs, but LW hasn't given me any unexpected machine-related trouble on it.

I use an Intel-based Mac Mini as second computer. haven't had any problems with it yet!
