Any experiences with this 3D scanner?

Idea is cool and tempting, but it'd be nice to hear some input if someone has had actual hands-on experiences with this thing.. It would be awfully embarrassing if we shelled out money for this thing and only then found out that all the goody-good proved to be a good idea but bad implementation in the real world usage (car modeling).

So... Anyone? :)

Dunno, but i see it in action in many dvd extras (one is bug's life if i am not wrong) so i assume it is good.

Microscribe is an exceptional product, and well worth every penny.

You do need a software package called Digiscribe to work with it though, however the combination of the 2 are phenomenal.
