New Computer

Well, the new computer is being built as we speak.
My tech is asking about tweeks for windows xp64. does anyone have a list or a link to one?

Intel core 2 Duo 6850 (3.0 GHz, dual core)
8 Gig RAM
200 GB IDE system drive
2, 500 GB SATA Drives in a raid 0 (stripe)
configuration (no mirroring)
XP pro SP2 32-bit
XP pro 64 bit
Nvidia Quatro FX 4400 video card

computer will not be connected to the internet

Get an E8400 instead, it runs cooler, faster (6Mb Cache vs 4Mb) and costs less than a 6850.
