Hey All,

I am trying to show the development of a hurricane.

I have chosen to use a 2 point clouds. One blobby shaped and one more of the classic hurricane shape. I want to morph from the blobby to the hurricane in the time of 20 sec. The morph works fine.

However I have chosen to obviously use the wonderful HV to get that great cloud look. In sprite mode.

The issue is this:

The morph appears to work fine and the VIPER show show the different stages great at previews of individual frames. But, when a preview in VIPER or actual output file the shape just sits there and doesn't morph?

Any ideas? Any ideas on using perhaps a different method.

I have attached a gif to get my point accross better.

Thanks all in advance.

Greg

VIPER will only preview the buffered geometry from the last rendered picture. If you want to see the actual geometry displacement + hypervoxels surfaces you'll need to render your scene as an animation.

Or you can just activate the OpenGL preview of HyperVoxels and make a preview animation.

I'm not sure if this will work but I had a similiar problem with Metaballs. The answer was in the Object properties panel, try setting 'Subdivision Order' to 'After Motion'. Just a wild guess but worth a try.

This only for Subpatched objects.. that's why it's called SUBDIVISION order.
