WIP - Elf Character

Hello all,

This is a character I started the other night. He's going to be an elf when completed and hopefully he won't be a disgrace of one.. C&C welcome, particularly on the tunic and the hands (my first attempt at hand modelling).. Thanks for looking..

Looking good. Two bits of feedback, IMHO the hands need some testure around the knuckles. Look how the skin bunches up on your hand when the fingures are straight. The second is that you may try and make the cloak out of double sided polys, The (elf's) right shoulder looks like the tunic is invisable on the inside

I love the details on the cuffs of the shirt. Great work there

thanks for the helpful comments.. the skin on the fingers will be a bump map.. and for the tunic i've found that using double sided polys makes the points merge in undesirable ways.. so i took the original mesh.. copied and shrunk it and intend to weld the edge points.. (that's why you can see through the shoulder area).. does anyone else have any other comments or suggestions to help me progress with this character..? thanks..

Knightmare. your off to a good start. My comment is in regard to the hands. They seem a bit flat. Look at how it joins the wrist. Also the fingers have a divit where they join the hand. If you were to hold out your own hand and exstend the fingers, you would see that they are the same thickness where they meet the hand. Then they taper out to the ends a bit. Lets see a close-up of the face. Hard to tell whats going on there. But looks pretty good.

thanks for the comment.. i'll try to re work the hands with your suggestions when i get a chance.. here's a close up of the head as of yet.. i've got a few seams that i can't seem to get rid of completely.. any suggestions to that would be quite helpful.. thanks again..
