Not sure where to put this, as I did not see a feature request directly for the Live sets. If it is in the wrong category please move it to the correct forum.

I think the basis behind the whole Live Set idea is great.
I like the Tricaster and what it offers in general minus a few shortcomings.
I have always enjoyed Lightwave.
I am a Mac user mostly, this just means my big production machines are mac based. I do not and will not purchase another machine (windows based) beyond the studio. I have always runs LW on the mac.
I think I am not alone in this department.
I think it would benefit many Newtek customers if their proprietary plug-in for the Live Set Creation in Lightwave was indeed cross platform. It would not only give a level playing field to all Newtek customer base, but would support the already cross platform software. And because we are not officially supposed to install extra software on to the Tricaster, it sure would help people like me who have loaded production machines ready to go with the exception of no plugin for the MAC version of Lightwave.

Please, Please, Please, address this issue.

Thank you for your consideration.

Direct support for OSX would be nice, but just to mention it: Bootcamp offers an interim solution (and a fairly inexpensive one) for anyone with a recent edition Mac.

"We’re excited to announce that LiveSet Generator™ for LightWave® is now available as a free download on the registration server for all registered owners of LightWave"

I too would like to see a Mac plugin released to make the above quote in the release statement true. I am a registered owner of lightwave, i just happen to use a Mac.

Well.... we can download it on our Macs.... We just can't use it on our Macs... but it is nice that we can download... right?

I second, or is it third now, to motion for Lightwave (Mac) support with the plugin. Like RaVen{base} my only Windows (XP) box at this point is my Video Toaster. Which happens to have only LW 8.x.

Could I install LW 9.x on it? Probably, but I don't want to have to remove the dongle from my Mac and work at my kinda uncomfortable VT location. I have a beautifull 8-Core MacPro with 22" Cinema Display. Much rather do my work there - whether it be LW, Modo, Photoshop, FCP, etc.

Bootcamp? Yes it is possible but that means I need, officially, to buy another copy of Windows. Please give us Mac users some love. :)
