I only got 1 class in lightwave at school so that kinda sucks but im still tryen todo it by myself :P this look good to u experts?

I'm not an expert. Clearly it's not the most sophisticated model or lighting rig, but it does have 'life'. I like it.

how do u guys learn quickly on lightwave? tutorials? classes? i dont seem to be getting very far lol

Well, the reason that I learned so quickly is because of this awsome book by Dan Ablan called "Inside LightWave 7 ". Before I read it I had no idea at all how to use Lightwave (hey, I didn't even know about subpatches). And after reading a few chapters I learned a ton, and now that I have completed the modeling part I can make just about anything (even if my methods are a little weird, and the fact I am still a extrem newbie, I can eventually make what I want). Even though it is 1100 pages, it is easy(and very fun) reading. Great example (the tutorials work, and all the of models are on the CD). (Note I am not paid to write this ;) ).

Anyway, I would recommend that book. And of course you will find tutorials online, but they are for (usually) people who already know thier way around lightwave.

I couldn't agree more. Pick up Inisde Lightwave 7; by Dan Alban; you'll be so suprized at what you can do with only a few chapters under your belt.

I myself have only been using Lightwave heavily for around 3 months now; Although I've owned it for close to 6.
