You would need to use Motion Designer for that.
Piece of cake. If you don't want the ball seen just make it unseen by camera.

Hey, I messed around with the motion options and finally got the two objects to move together! lol, but I did not see the motion designer. Do you know of any good tutorials that would demonstrate what im trying to do?

in the \Content\Scenes\_Features\MotionDesigner
folder is a file called Cloth_Dynamics_Collision.lws
sounds like makingthe ball invisible is exactly what your after.
