how to install texture?

hi, emm...

i just downloaded a texture from newtek, metal category, how do i use it in lightwave? how to install it?

and of course not only that texture i want to use but others home-made texture. so how to install texture so it display in "presets"?

It's an image map (assuming you're referring to NewTek's texture collection) just load it in the image editor panel and use the surface editor to map it on some polygons :)

We say texture or image map but it's just a jpg image. Not some special kind of preset or surface file.
