Otacon...not octagon...I live about one and a half hours from Memphis...and let me just tell you I didn't think anyone with the skills you have was located within 500 miles of me... Very Nice!

Just incredible. With one hand, I'd like to shake yours, but with the other, I'd like to jab you in the eye with my pen! :D
I think it would take me all night (if not more) just to model the pin correctly and texture it.
As a side note: Whenever I show people what I do in LW I always show some of the work you've done along with the statement "..and this is what you 'can' do in LightWave". That's when the jaws usually drop.
Excellent work as usual.

I'll admit that I referred a friend to one of Otacon's architectural renderings, after he linked me to a rather mumblety-ho 3DS Max arch viz pic...I think his jaw probably dropped a few kilometers or so...

Looks cool!
I'd like to see more motion blur though... This would be a great scene to really show off that great new LW photoreal motion blur to a much greater extent.
very good composition and lighting -
do you used LW dynamic's???

What was the render time on that? Just curious...I'm always comparing my render times to others just to make sure...

Thanks guys. I didn't use dynamics, just placed them manually. I let it render overnight, so around 8 hrs.

There's a classic benchmark bowling scene (http://www.cs.unc.edu/~lastra/Courses/COMP238_F2000/Bowling_frame09.jpg), and yours is way more interesting. Some motion blur on one or two pins could add more action to this scene, nice render!
