If you look the right way, your font reads "MAE" instead of "MRE", and as anyone knows MAE stands for Multi-sensory Aesthetic Experience, a cool rock band.

Or wait. Am I getting off track here? :D

Anyway, very nice!

It does look like an "A"

Will have to fix that...

Thanks

I like the look of him, my only suggestion would be to give him a flamethrower.

So he can kill things with fire.:hey:

nice mech. as Etch said, flamethrower is nice addition, and very practical- when not killing things with fire, it can easy boil eggs, make hot water for tea etc.
And what about special, giant swiss army knife for him? :hey: :grumpy:

One thing about your texturing. The camo is nice but the beat-up scratches & patches aren't. They look too clean and uniform. Also the spec value's a bit high I think.

Have you tried rendering it with ambient occlusion and using the grit plugin?

What's Silhouette? I ran a search at Flay and it came back with "Jot".

Spec maps are important for game stuff, I've found. Dull down the paint, add some fine noise, and boost the bare metal. You might consider some hand-made scratch maps around the feet ans such. Looking cool, though!

Hi Zapper!

It will be great to see an occlusion render of the mesh...I think the mesh is cool but the texturing work is not as good as it should be.

As games works with bitmap...I'm sure that a UV texture will be much better than procedural (It is procedural isn't it? looks like...) (For example, I think that the white scratches have to be deleted, to little and regulars)

And even if spec map are important, I would suggest to use reflexion map to have a really cool spec and reflexion render :)

Sorry to begin with crits! But you got here a really nice model, and I think that the model is good already, with a good texturing work, it will :jam::thumbsup:
