etched glass

anyone have any advice on creating a laser etched glass surface? thanks!

this is pretty much where i'm at right now.

Alpha clipped white plane inside the glass with very small fractal applied as a bump. That should catch the light and give you the white-light you see in your example. If it's not white enough up the luminosity of the plane's surface.

That's how I'd do it anyway.
