Steve,
Really nice modelling, texturing and lighting.
I like the blur - was that done in post?
Good work,
Adrian.

thanks..i've been plesently surpised by just how simple it is to get such a nice quality render out of lightwave in comparison to other 3d apps [i also own 3dsmax]
1.the blur is done with digital confusion in lightwave [looks nice..]
2.the bloom effect is also done in lightwave..blooms out the specular hilights.
the only editing to the image is the text and border effects which were done in photoplop...it's a straight render otherwise.

I really like it. Looks really cool. Nice reflections.
(it is really weird looking at what I am saying. Only a small group of people care about reflections on objects that don't exist in the real world).
Anyway, great job.

Great job. Elegantly simple and precise in it's theme. I really get the feeling of "lost" from these faceless metal figurines. I'd love to see more stuff like this.

When I first started in LW (7.0, end of '02), I had no troubles with Digital Confusion, but now I get unacceptable results (http://vbulletin.newtek.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7571). Do you do anything to sidestep the results I got? Or perhaps I need an update or patch. Just jealous, er, curious
