Mainly done but I'm changing some of the colour scheme so I'll keep it in the WIP just now.

Some noise still present that should disappear in the final.

c&c welcome..............

There's no skirting (board?)!!! Very bad of you indeed!
Seriously, what critics do you want to hear? It's almost perfect!

it looks promising, but i do not like some things in it.

the books.
they look strangely lit, and the blue color of the book(s) becomes as a focus point.
i would change to a more neutral color or light them differently.

other than that. very nice....there is something with the shadow from the lamps, but i am not sure if it disturbs me, or if im just trying to find something more to critisize ;)

well done

edit: the book...after a close look, i see it has a white stripe that i took as some kind of a lighting error ;)
...i still dont like the blue color of it.

Thanks for the feedback.
There is no skirting, it's a shadow gap detail which I'm not a huge fan of but I didn't do the specification :)

I agree about the blue books, it works better in the day shot.

Nice, but where are the honeys?

I like the attention to detail -> placing a chair outside and out of the focal point of the render. Nice touch.

Maybe I should have draped some ladies over the bed. Anybody got a clip mapped Hef?
An update and a daytime version:

looks cool, especially the daytime version.

crits:
daytime version: has odd reflection (floating pillow?)
nighttime version: i expect to have strong reflection in window and at least a moonlight cast, nothing happening in that area now.

but good in general, cheers

Like the daytime one, but the night is good, the lamplight has a celestial quality. But day or night the wallpaper is too strong, should be much paler, and is ruining what would otherwise be a very fine room IMHO.

Thanks guys. I agree with the points you've raised.

I'll hopefully get this finished off tomorrow.
