Cartoon Fish

I finished my cartoon fish and decided to go with cel shaded version. I had to fix up a few of the edges in photoshop, but overall I am happy with it.

is this Super Cel Shader or BESM? I like BESM because it has more options, but I hate how you have to re-choose all of the colors, it'd be great if it would just take them from the surface.

I used Super Cel Shader. It was a much simpiler not having to specify the colors.

LOL. I actualy did a tv ad which involved cel shaded fish. On our project we went for a slightly more realistic style.

As for the fish craze thats been going around, i would check out "Finding Nemo"- Now, there are some great fishes there to drool over!:)

as for the image, i would do something with the sea,- its a bit dull, maby some cartoony wave reflections or something? Im just thinking outloud here..
what do you think?..

Glad you like the fish. Regarding the image, I agree that it could be better and I plan to revisit latter when I have some more time. Might even try to animate it.
