Hi, I just want to know if anybody can help me... every time I work on an animation that contains over 100 frames and go to render or preview, it renders up to 90 frames and then an error message pops up saying 'out of memory'.
Could somebody please give me some feedback on how to free up memory so that I can completely render my animations.

I am using Windows XP, AMD duron processor, 1.00 GHz, 120 MB Ram.

Appreciate any help.

thank you..... DS

I'm no wiz kid when it comes to technology, but I'm guessing that you are a little shy on ram. One gig of ram is minimal for me to accomplish what I want to. Hope this helps.

Are you sure that you only have 120 megs of ram. That is a really odd number for ram. Also, I think it's amazing that Win XP runs with that little ram. I seem to remember that it recommends 256 megs to run properly, let alone with other applications running. I am personally running with half a gig of ram and am now starting to run out just displaying my models in Layout. More ram will definitely make life easier.

You could also beef up your virtual memory or render to still frames.
