Hy all,
I have null_obj with particle emiter attached on it. Null is traveling around one of objects in the sceen and leaving trail of particles. I wanna make those particles look like magic dust and i cant get good HV setings. Plz any hellp will be great!

Have you tried using partigons? Sometimes I have found that using glow and luminous textures with some transparency yeilds good results. If you are going to use hypervoxels, are you using the size variation? Are you using sprite or volume mode. A sprite mode will probably look better for this sort of thing.

put this preset in your "hypervoxels presets" folder and make sure the included image is in your current content directory.

was asked about rendering the dust with alpha.
the png file that's included does not have an alpha included. couple suggested workarounds...
1. render the particles by themselves, then duplicate the clip, desaturate, and use as alpha (in LW or compositing package.)
2. use this preset instead. works similarly, but respects alpha. personally don't think it looks as nice, but should still work.
(note on method 2. follow same install directions as first preset.)
