set driven key in surface diseappear...?

hi,

i've an object with several surfaces...to avoid changing my diffuse setting for each surface i linked all diffuse to a master channel (%) with an enveloppe...it's work perfectly in the layout, but each time i go to the modeler and come back, all the link are broken...
someone can confirm this, and/or know a solution...?

This is normal. Unfortunately Modeler can not handle such things properly. It's the same with expressions. The only reliable solution is having a object in Layout that acts as a "storage object" for your surfaces. A simple plane where all polys have different surfaces will do. You then can always copy your surfaces back onto the final object(s) once you are finished with modeling.
