how would i make gunfire.

i dont know how i could get the flashing fire effect at the end of the barrel.

please help.

I have a nice little plugin called tracer from worly labs, ill traded in for another plugin.
with tracer, you can created all sorts of fire power shooting from any object.

Try checking this out. It's a good tip, or at the very least, may send you in the right direction.

You can also try particles, but that may be too much render time, or if you are unfamiliar with them, it could take a while to set up.

Check the hummer.lws from the content. It is a bit old, but the gunfire there, might give you a good idea how this effect can be done very efficiently.
