I love my MacBook Pro. It's great.
But I STILL can't open a pdf in Firefox. This is LAME. And YES this is LW related because it is usually tutes, client documents, manuals etc etc. that I am reading.
(Why) Is this really so hard to solve?

I believe if you install the Acrobat browser plug-in, you can see them in FF. The issue is that PDF is a native document format on MacOSX, and they're easier to read in Preview (for me at least).

Thanks Chilton, but have done some more research and apparently something like this (http://www.fivecentnickel.com/2006/08/13/solving-firefox-problems-on-intel-powered-macs/) workaround is the only option ..
Firefox in Rosetta .. oh joy. ;)
Maybe they didn't bother because they were waiting for Leopard .. ?
Merci -

That's really odd. There's a UB version of Adobe's Reader plug-in on their site. It says they recommend Safari, but I bet it would work with FF as well.
