Previous versions of vt2

Ok, I was just getting ready to install a previous version of vt2 so I could try to get the "dshow" input in the switcher. It occured to me that in one of the later updates (probably the last one) there was a core update preformed on the vt2. if I try to go back to a previous version will this cause problems? any suggestions as to which version to use to get this feature working?

The newer cores should work with older builds.

Still trying to get a switcher input for streaming media
I uninstalled 3890 - indtalled 3266c and still don't have a dshow input for the switcher does anybody know what version it was working in?

Try the oldest one possible or hope for it in the new version...
