This is the Update I have been waiting on!! Great Job guys! I installed tonight with no problems and I love it!
I only wish there was still a way to have all 6 inputs and still have the three previews! But it is definitely a great update!! The Text Editor is off the hook, and I love the new overlay templates as well. Overall a great release!! Thanks and keep up the great work!
Hi, I just joined the forum and was wondering if any other folks have upgraded yet and if any problems were found. Thanks, Scott:)

hi, Can anyone explain how to connect a Y/C input by Dual BNC on TC studio which is explained on the new update.

Sure zonuna.
I'll kind of run through the whole thing, in case that is part of your question.
It's fairly common to run Y/C on two coax cables for long cable runs, such as our 300 feet. This usual Y/C is four pin (four wire). A coax cable is the equivalent of two wire. One is the center conductor and the second is the metal wrapper. Both are connected to the coaxial connector.
There is a Y/C splitter that splits the four wires (pins as you see them at the connector). to two coax connectors. From this, all the way to the TriCaster STUDIO patch panel you then run the two coaxial cables. The one with the two luminance pin (Y) wires would be attached to the Y connector. I don't think that NewTek has said for the chrominance (C), but there is a norm which carries to the NewTek VT SX-8 and 84. That would be to connect it to the "V" connector on the TC S patch panel.
I am sure that the upgrade manual will cover that part.

When did you purchase TriCaster STUDIO? The all recent versions have the upgrade software already, which may be why it reports 'update previously installed'.

We buy after the launching in 2007. In our version is not possible to change to 3 camera mode.
