rectangular selection

yet another small stupid question, i searched the pdf,but is there a way to have a rectangular selection in modeler?
i mean,i have to select exactly a rectangle, but drawing it with the lasso is quite difficult...

in the view tab try volume (the ancient volume selection) should do it for you.

You could also try a boolean.
