Nice Job! Great facial expression. I hope this character is going to be involved in an animation, because he would be perfect for animating.

That is awesome. I'd love to see any other renders of him. 5 stars from me.
Any iteresting notes to tell us?

Thanks. :)

Welp.. I made it in about 8 or 9 hours. No imagemaps (though it could use some), and it's not animatable.. Not yet.. Someday I may bone my fish (tee hee). I made him for a print application, so I just made the expression with a morph map.

Looks ok, but to me it looks like it could do with a lot more work on the texturing. Unless you wanted him to look like a plastic toy fish that is. Id like to see some image maps for the textures, a bit of bump or displacement perhaps?

I would like to re-visit him and texture him up.. Right now I don't have the time.
Carbon71, if you want to see more of him, I added him to my home page (different expression). I also tweaked the geometry in his eyebrows to get better expressions.
Later!
Fish seem very popular at the moment :) Can you make his eyes blink?

Yes, but if I was going to add animation to him, I wouldn't just move his eyelids. He deserves better than Saturday-morning-TV-quality animation. Unfortunately, I don't have time to breathe life into him right now.
