tnx 4 the link...

...but it seems that i have some problems with configuring a good render in lightwave (caustic light is never activated in rendering overview, even i added a light with caustic ON).

not about caustics...but how to do good and correct glass in LW generally...also the topic with air-polys is well explained

Turn Caustics on in Render Options and be prepared to wait... ;-)

Also check out info on the Fresnel shader and the Fresnel effect in general...
