motion designer help

I have created a ground and box with a cloth on top.
I selected motion designer to collide my cloth with the box, but when it falls, it goes through the ground-MD only has 2 buttons activated for my box and cloth to collide, if I select the ground, my cloth will not collide with the box. if I select the box, my cloth will not collide with the ground. should not MD have more then 2 buttons for object coliision activation??, i wish i was a programmer, I would re-design the MD for more then 2 object detection.

any help on this one please

I don't understand all this talk about "buttons", so just make sure that any object that is static in the scene is set as collision object ("Collision" set to 1). In your case I guess this would be both the ground and the box. Any object you want moving around and be deformed, a piece of cloth for example, should be set as target object. It will react to all collision objects as long as you don't set "collision select object" to anything specific.

MD is pretty capable once you learn the ropes. It still does take some fiddling sometimes though. Be sure to save those settings if you manage to define a perticularly good "material" to save you time later on.
