I quite like it, though there's no 'woods' to be seen!

To me it looks like a cardboard model, sitting on some grass. The main reason it looks like that is the scale of the grass versus the size of the model. Fun though.

mmmm the scale is out of wack, the roof looks very 2d with a single sheet of iron. Personally I'm not a big fan of straight photographic image maps. Fun to play though like Paul said.

I think the dof looks good, but i am a fan of very shallow dof, so others might think it is too much.

Woo! That's some big grass! If someone weren't careful, they might impale themselves on a blade of grass!

Make the grass smaller. Adding more stumps (and some non-cut trees), along with making the terrain uneven would make the image more interesting. Maybe a babbling brook running near the hut. :)

Oh and some boulders and rocks!

Have fun!

The composition is a bit strange too. The tip of the hut tends to lead your eye out of the image. Study up on divine geometry.

For DOF go with something that is supposed to be small. DOF only works well in a scene like yours if you have a tree thats real close to the camera. Other than that everything in the distance would be in focus. I would study some photography, and you might want to get a cheap 35mm camera from a pawn shop to play with it. I got an old Canon AE1 for $ 25. it helps a lot.

That sure is one Tiny hut :). Depth of foeld is only ever noticable on close zoom images, that and the scale of the grass makes the hut and treestumps look incredible small. So does the angle of th camera. But i actually think it looks ok , just have smurf sitting on the porch :D.

I think this looks tres cool. Like a paper model hut put on a lawn somewhere.

Ah takes me back to days of cutting out and sticking together some nice 3D dragons!
