Does anyone know any release info on this? When is the trial period due to start? Has it been shelved? etc etc

Well, yes the wait is getting a bit boring. Perhaps CS4 has been announced to plugin developers and they are holding out? Who knows.

It's the teasing threads from NT that are the most frustrating... "Here's what it can do" etc. then no word.

althou i dont know what you are talking about i did a quick search on google for "rendition" that pointed to a movie so i added software and got a hit on a file from holomatix at http://www.holomatix.com/cat/rendition/ i hope this is what you are looking for.

I know – it’s a bit bad form to launch into an irate tirade as your opening salvo but to date I’ve never really had need to ask a question as I can usually find an answer elsewhere on these boards.

I’m under a bit of pressure with a work related project to implement something along these lines and Rendition seems like an obvious solution to at least part of my plans – the only other option being strata’s apparently low rent alternative.

It’s just annoying that every time you ask the question you either get no answer or the corporate shrug of the shoulders.

James – there wont even be a sniff of a developer version of CS4 for at the very least a year yet so hopefully they aren’t holding out for that :)
