hi there

i recently bought a new pc screen - LG F700P - which supports DVI connection. my GeForce 3 Ti also supports DVI connection.
will it make any difference if i'll buy DVI cable (assume i uses maximum resolution of 1280x1024, no more than that) or i should stay with the aging VGA cable?
i also wanna know what are the differences of picture quality between DVI and VGA.

Thanks,

Hi Tomerggg,

I'm no guru, but I'll relate my experience. I recently bought VT/LW and a pair of LCD monitors. Both monitors are connected to a NVidia 380 graphics card which has both types of connections. One monitor is on the analog connection to the card and the other is on the DVI connection. Can't see any difference between them. Both look great. I want to use one of the monitors in a sound booth, and I read that the DVI cord could be longer, so I bought a 3 meter cable from www.cablestogo.com. The image looks the same as on the shorter cable.
