VT5 with RS-8 (DDR/Alt keys)

With VT4, when we selected "DDR" or "Alt" on the RS-8, it would set the DSK to either DDR1 or DDR2, depending on which button on the RS-8 we selected.

Now, when we press "DDR" on the RS-8, it opens up a new blank DDR instead of changing the DSK to set as DDR1.

When we press "Alt" on the RS-8, nothing happens, but the button on the switcher lights up.

Is there a way we can change this back to how it was?
