video does not play

I am brand new so it is possible my fix is simple. I have captured video. Placed on a timeline and storyboard. When I push the space button to view in the output screen, nothing happens. Not only does it not display in the screen, looking at the vid length nothing happesn no movement anywhere by anything, what am I missing.

It may have just "choked" on itself. Try saving the project, kill SE, restart, reload the project and try again. We are dealing with computers in an imperfect world......

Yes Scott, but using the Radio play button first, befor space bar, is my normal workflow. IOW, use the button, double click the output window for full screen, then use the space bar. Certainly, the Prefs need addressed and closing and reopening SE is a good idea.
