installing new vt-4, with older sx-8. They do not seem to fit, also do you need power to both as, sx-8 paper work shows (installation), or is the new vt-4 power the sx-8??
I did install vt-3 with sx-8, 4 year's ago, all was fast to do??

VT4 Works fine with the Older SX8.
make sure your daughter card is connected properly
and powered. (the power connecter is the small
(floppy style) power connector going to the power supply.
...is everything is connected as stated above, did you
try running the config utility ?
if so was the sx8 detected ?

after reading, Installing the sx-84 on page 1.10, it says that the daughtercard is already installed on the back of the vt-4 card (great for newtek to do that) so I could be almost done. And the vt-4 card is powered. I also notice that the vt-4 card and the blue coax ribbons that attach to the other pci smaller card, looks like the older sx-8 part + more. Looks like I might be running the sx-8 in a few hours, after the full vt-4 install... (i hope)
