Has anyone tried editing video with SE stored on SSD (Solid State Drives)?

This might give a nice performance boost, maybe even for VT[5]. Just wanted to know if it has been tried yet.

I have been using a Solid State solution for my personal TriCaster for over a year. :)
I currently have both a 32gig solution inside. It is seen and works just like any standard SATA drive.
Works great as a system drive primarily or as a backup.
