I have temporarily painted the hair in Photoshop and the collar is from a photo but both of which will be modelled shortly. I also intend to animate him:

BTW He's our illustrious British Prime Minister.

It's definitely recognisable, good job!
He does look a bit too young, but that's not serious.

I recognised who it was supposed to be, but why oh why would you want to spend valuable time modelling that stupid numpty?
Nice job anyway :)

Thanks for your comment. Yep, he could do with some more wrinkles. My mother thought it was too flattering.:)

Thanks for the reply. I just picked the first character out of the newspaper. Unfortunately it was him. I just wanted to see how difficult it is to get a likeness.
I want to try Z Brush to see if it is any easier to get surface details.

I think it's a very good choice for a modeling exercise - nothing to do with GB as a person, but he's an age that people rarely try and model, well enough known to be recognizable, and for people to judge how well you have done.

Good job on the picture. I like your color scheme. It has a pastel, oil based painting feel to it.

Hi Starbase. Thanks for your post. I'm sure I replied to you the other week but it obviously didn't go through.
I've just bought 3D Brush so I'll see if it will be any easier to add some more character to his face.

As Above I did reply soon after your post, but must have pressed the wrong button or something.
Thanks for your comment I appreciate your input.:)
