hi,
this is the closest i got too making a realistic large forrest for an animation, it is puching my machine too its limit, anny sugestions on how too make it more economical?

Was checking it out but..........................as soon as any web site fires unwanted pop ups or pop behinds at me I close it WITHOUT EXCEPTION. As will many other web users. This is an illicit means to make someone endure something they never asked for.

it seems you have access to the university twente (that's in holland guys) so i would say: set up a render farm at the uni! LOL my big scenes are rendered at university delft (also in holland guys) owh ps: images look great to me!

You seem to have "X" trees as it is - instead of having many polys per tree, have 2 Quads with a transparency mapped texture. That should chop down your polys dramatically.
