Crashing of Layout in LW 9

I have problems with LW 9 Layout crashing within seconds of me loading an object and zooming on the object. I have removed and reloaded LW9 several times in different destinations and the problem still persists. Could it be the video card? Any suggestions?

Question do you have a .JPG as your background or associated with any objects in your scene? Did any of them come from the web? I downloaded(stole) some .jpgs of the web and tried to apply thme to objects. It would not work(kept crashing) until I opened the .Jpg did a print screen and pasted it back into paint and named it something else.

I would say it's your graphics card more than anything, particularly the drivers for your graphics card. Make sure they are up-to-date by going to the chipset manufacturer's website (not Microsoft Update).
