Saweet!!! I love the mood of this. you should try lowering the light level to give it more of a solumn feel to the image..

Where's the light coming from, Sunlight? Good idea, but overall the image lacks small detail. You need to round your edges and if a body had decomposed on the chair I think it would leave a stain :D

riki,

I don't think a stain would be all that visible after 150 years & I didn't model the bridge unfortunately (see credits).

Thanks anyway

yeah yeah I guess the cleaners would've mopped it up when they were vacuuming the floors :)

Looks cool but a bit too clean as others have said.
You should have Kirk, Spock and Bones be normal and the rest of the crew as skeletons at their stations. Then they could try to figure out what happened. That could be another episode in 3D this time.

Cheers,
JS

What's Bones doing in the captains chair?

HA! Then I never have to clean, because EVENTUALLY stains just vanish! Cool.
Come to think of it, all those images of mummies sure look all clean and white.....

Well dirt or not, the colors are off on the bridge and I don't understand the spot (where's it coming from, what's it doing, etc).

Fun image. If that's Kirk, that's the skinniest he's ever been. :p

Zarathustra,

I'm sorry what do you mean the colours are off?

I don't remember seeing anything anywhere that says a bridge has to be the same colour!

All you have to do is look at the Defiant which had Red trim carpets in season six & purple in season seven!

As far as the spot is concerned it's supposed to be the light streaming through after someone finally manages to open the turbo lift doors.

And no, it's not Kirk because as we all know He died on Veridian Three (Generations), although He did bring himself back for one of Shatners novels.

ps. Don't pick Trek with a life long Trekker ;)

uh, ok. I would never question someone's trekieness. That's just not the colors from the show - that's all I know.

The light is coming from the turbolift in the back? looks like it's from above.

Ha ha I've only seen about 3 episodes of Star Trek so will have to take your word on that one :)
