WANTED! Video Editor Program VT compatible

We working with a LOT of edl (a SciFi serie) and we need to batch capture a LOT of video and compose it using Combustion.

but... Speed Razor give us a LOT of problems with the edl negative time, if edl list is too long SR freeze some times AND is not very friendly to ours editors (like avid OR Premiere 6)

so please:

If we need compose there is Combustion, Digital Fusion, AEffects... all this programs are VT compatible.

but... What about NLEDITION programs that work with VT?

Is Vegas compatible or another one?

Which NLE will give us a GOOD batch capture and friendly edl managment?

I would look at upgrading to the VT3. My understanding is that it has a batch capture module included which will read all those formats you spoke of.

Go read the info on the VT3 -- you may find that's just the ticket!

Cant wait for the VT3 final release.

You know any program NLE that reconigzed VT ?

None.

If you need it now, you are out of luck.
Beta VT3 could get you in. But stock VT2 has no edl in out capabilities.

Best I've been able to do is to buy Decision Maker and make edls with it. But that's only for digitizing clips, not importing an edl from another program. But with DM, you could import other edls for the purpose of digitizing.

Sounds to me as though DM might do the trick for you. Are you just trying to get the digitizing list completed on your VT machine? DM would do it.
