I guess we'll know after it ships, though I don't expect any problems, since VT [3] operates as a proper service under Windows XP.

Windows 2003 is actually Windows Server 2003.
In theory you would be able to run VT2 or 3 with Windows Server, I wouldn't suggest it though.
Buy Windows XP and use it. Works great.

Windows 2003 Server is supposed to be a lot faster than Windows XP, and it installs with most servers services turned off by default, which makes it a viable workstation product. Imagine being able to run VT[3], Lightwave or Digital Fusion on a 4-way Xeon box, or even an 8-way!!! You just have to run the appropriate version of 2003 Server. Once VT[3] is released, if not sooner, we're planning to dual-boot and do some speed comparisons.
