Hello everyone,
gadget is proud to announce a new plugin for Lightwave, infiniMap V1.0 LE.
infiniMap LE is the first public available version of our in-house terrashader plugin, used succesfully for a variety of terrain visualizations.
It allows for the use of ECW compressed image files of any size to texture Lightwave geometry. ECW is a file format created by GIS applications from ERMapper ( http://www.ermapper.com ).
infiniMap is the only free plugin for Lightwave to support ECW imagery.
A commercial version of infiniMap is currently under devlopment.
The Freeware Version infiniMap LE can be downloaded at http://www.gadget.de/infiniMap and is currently available for Windows only. infiniMap LE is compatible to Lightwave 7.0 and subsequent versions.
We also provide on-line documentation, a tutorial and a mailing list for users.
