The second video has the better music - otherwise they are the same. We actually had four versions of music - client liked slower versions - Music is so subjective!

By the way - the team was:
Ted Domek - project manager/artist
Jason Lee -lead artist
Nathan Warden - artist
Charles T. Gaushell - principal/script/artist/editor
Actors custom shot on greenscreen including just about everyone at Paradigm and our kids along with a few hired professionals (and a few from Marvin collection)
Very good Charles.
Some great touches especially the initial aerial shots and the girls at the fountain.

very nice anims but i agree on the music, it sounds really out of place and not suited for a reel.

Thanks. Client rules when it comes to music....unfortunately. But we've had some other clients hear it and love the selection - go figure.
Those are my girls at the fountain and my son in the park kicking the soccer ball. See if you can find me........
See if you can find me........
Hmm...
Ok, standing on a corner, back to camera, wearing white shorts a black shirt with a couple vertical white stripes.

What's not to like about the CG, it's all fantastic :)
The music doesn't fit at all though. Personal preference I guess.
The thing that bothers me the most is the cheap looking video border used throughout. It really pulls the overall feels down to the level of bad wedding videos. Hmn... maybe that is harsh, but I can't describe it otherwise. A clean edged video would come off far more aethstetically pleasing.
Thanks.
The video border was because the client wanted a "dreamy" look but we didn't want to wash out everything with bloom. The internet isn't doing it justice though. It is fairly subtle on the DVD - but made them happy. I would just assume get rid of it too.
clients......LOL

Nice guess - at pool in white shirt talking to boy in brown shirt (my son).
