Hair guides to geometry?

I am trying to figure out how to create tubes from 2 point poly chain hair guides. I know it can easily be done with LWCad 2.0, but I only have access to version 1.5 which doesn't have that capability (as far as I know). Any other way to do this?

If I have to, I guess I can upgrade to 2.5 for $100. But for now, I'm hoping there's another solution.

I don't know how many you have but if you can convert to curves you can use profiler in 1.5. There is also a poly to curve in 1.5 but Im not sure how it works on 2 point chains.
