Hi all,
I have made a scene with many heavy object and many texture with various image for mapping.

The scene loaded takes about 1Gb of memory (my system has 1.5 gb of Ram)

When I try to render a frame, Lightwave crashes (close program without any error message).

During the rendering I try to look to the Windows Task Manager, and I have noticed that Lw crashes when system begins to use the virtual memory.

I try to render with 1MB of Segment Memory, but the problem persists

I try to render the scene on WinXp and Win2000 (both with 1.5gb of RAM), but the result is the same

I have Lightwave 7.5c

Could you help me? Thank you.

It seems a LW7.5c problem to me.

I do a lot of "virtual memory" renders (3200x2400 with 320MB of SegmentMemory for 1-segment-render);
my machine is a 768MB RAM with WinXP.

Using LW7.5 (plain, no b nor c) is all OK for me! ;)

Bye.
