I finally got around to updating my demo reel. It predominantly uses Lightwave, so I figured I would share. Hope you like.

The webpage opens, and the Quicktime window starts, but then I get an error message and my web browser --- in either IE7 or Firefox --- crashes.

Rudy,
Hmmm. It works for me in IE7. I would recommend making sure you have an up-to-date version of QT - at least QT7. The link I provided should also have a link for Quicktime updates. Let me know if you still have problems.

The modeling/texturing could be a bit more detailed, but the animation looks really good. It is a long demoreel, try make it a bit shorter, so you can add some more details to the scenes. Good start.

dude the animation is far from good! But it a good start. Mabye you should watch some anim tutorials...........I like the rolling pencil and your ideas are oke. but really, i can even see any easyin-out motions. Its al to stiff and linear
Go on you can do it!!!:alien: ;) ;D :2guns:

I have to agree that while overall you seem to be producing alot of work and while the big picture is good, the detail (texturing, subtle animation, camera movement) is lacking ..
Watched a few of the university series and .. it's great! Writing, overal story, dialogue (tho maybe too many breast jokes for me) etc. fantastic. The catroon style allows you to get away with some of the more simple animations as well, tho the ninjas were well done ..
The close-up of the walking cycle in the demo showed the stiffness mentioned, and none of the great things from the series made it to your reel .. tho I guess that's difficult, given the interaction of characters etc. As for the camera movement - check out Exception's archvis demo reel as a recent example ..
It seems like you want to do everything (model, texture, animate, script, edit ...), and fast. You've got the skills, I just think that your work might really shine if you take a little more time .. but definately keep it up! :)
