Ok. Just thought I'd post some facial expressions and a few Phonemes. Have a few more to do, then I'll try my hand at Lip Sync. There has been some really cool things posted here on this sight. Everyone here is such a great source of ideas and inspiration. Just wanted to say thanks.

Looks good. But what about the eyes? You probably don't notice in a series of stills, but wtih the tweening in when the corners of the mouth rise without the eyes narrowing, it looks weird. Still, love your work.

edit: ps. one thing I found really helpful when lip syncing, was rather than recording just the sound for his voice video yer self or your talent (dv) and capture the sound from it. Then you can either use the video as a back drop to help give you an idea how each transition looks (if yer on a mac-n-lemon don't bother as it will not work properly not matter what you try) or if you have got the time (and are a bit 4nal like me lol) you can load the vid into premiere and draw up a story board, recording each mouth shape and it's coresponding simpte time code. I have only gone to that much trouble once, but it was an important project and only one and a half mins of speech. (It was pretty impressive sync work but)

It's a mac/lemon-LW bug, works fine on a PC but when you try it on a mac it somehow gets the timing wrong (of the video). When you've finished a whole lot of mind numbing synching and then try to line your render up with your soundtrack in premiere "hello" it's all out of whack. It was a while ago and I can't remember whether it was too fast or too slow, but I was using LW7.5 and I tried it on i-macs and G4s, and when I investigated the 'cause (surely I am doing something wrong) I found out the time/effort I had wasted was due to the fact I was using a mac. I invoiced them for said time but I'm still waiting...............

Hey, thanks for the comments. REI: I do need to make a really mean face, and get right on it:D Though the eye targets with the facial morphs will help convey a "I'm gonna Kill You" look. I have attached a file with the eye targets. I've posted this before, but might as well put it here too.

uberslayer: Guess I'm screwed! I'm working on a Mac-N-Lemon as you put it. I was planning on doing just what you discribed. Oh well...........I'll give it a shot and see what happeneds. I'll keep you posted.

Cool. Would love to heqr how youi get on, but if I was you I'd do some test renders first and see how they line up in prem. Isn't it a pain changing extention sets?.................................:p
