I posted a few weeks back, and still need some help. I'm running a 3 PC network (Windows Server 2000) for LightWave rendering. I'm trying to figure out Screamernet II. I'm using this tutorial here (http://www.firedragon.com/~fabio/screamer/screamer.htm)
I follow exactly, and then when I get to the step of actually starting LWSN on each machine, it opens for a split second then disappears.
I'm wondering if there's more to the ".bat" file than the tutorial explains. I'm coming from the Mac world, where the equivalent of the ".bat" file is called "LWSM cmdLine", and it seems like this naming convention associates the file with LWSN. On the PC, it seems you can name the ".bat" file whatever you want. But how does LWSN see this file? Will it look for any batch file?
