Presets

Hi everyone!

Look i feel really cheeky asking you guy's and gal's but i was wondering if any body has any presets that they would like to give me thing's like metal, water, glass etc
ive tried myself to create some of my own but can't quite get the hang of it just yet,

I too stink....errr....more like suck at the furface editor for the moment. There are several other resources for textures and presets which may fit your needs

Preset Central (http://www.presetcentral.com) - These are good and free downloads.

Dark Tree Simbiont (http://www.darksim.com) - Download their free simbiont plugin and the shaders for the plugin.

The Worms of Art (http://www.the-worms-of-art.com) - They offer a preset shelf application with many presets for all sorts of metals. Unfortunately, the whole set costs around $99US but the presets ROCK!!

Lightwave Group (http://www.lwg3d.com) - Overall, probably the best group to read and join. They have some presets in their resource section but also will freely give advice and many different solutions to the same problem.

Overall, make sure that you are familiar with all of the functions of the surface editor before posting a question about it anywhere. The best answers come from really pointed questions.
