I'm using textured environment with backdrop radiosity to light a scene; however, it is messing up my clean alpha channel. Is there any way around this?
I'm using the fader alpha saver w/ psd 32, but since textured environment renders the backdrop, i think it is messing with the alpha.

Offhand I'd say put your texture on a sky dome, inverted sphere, and make it 100% luminous no diffuse and do not cast or receive shadows and unseen by camera. It will still work as light source in radiosity but won't mess up your alpha. can't test it right now but let me know if it works.
I'm not sure I was doing it right, but "Fader Alpha" was messing up my alpha. I've been asking around, but getting no answers.
We talked about it here:
