O.K. I admit to being lazy, but sometimes its easier to just ask.
I have the original tricaster, one of the early XPC SB61G2 series, (black box) I wondered if any one has upgraded memory to 2 gigs. If so what what do you recommend. (speed latency, etc.) does the board handle the 400 O.K. what did it ship w/?

I was thinking of ordering Ultra 2048MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz Memory (2 x 1024MB) from NewEgg???

What is the reason for wanting to double available RAM?
That would not provide any additional benefit to live production.

Hi Paul: well... if Tcaster works like everything else I thought it would help w/ graphics during edit. Our Tcaster, (early ver.) gets kinda choked up when its haulin' round butt loads of lower thirds and stuff. We usually render the project and bring it back in to finish graphics. Soand exyta stick would'nt help?
Thanks,
Vern

For post production, it wouldn't hurt, I guess.
