Hello,
Can anyone help. I need to know if Lightwave can mirror an object being animated by an mdd file?
The object is a figure dancing, and all i want to do is mirror that in Layout, so to have another figure doing the same but as a mirror. Is it possible?

Try using Dponts mdd node and multiplying by a -1 vector in X

For mirroring on X axis a centered object:
-Move the object on X, clone it.
-Check Key Move "On" for both object & clone.
-Multiply X position & X Size of clone by -1.
-Make the surface of object double-sided.
The other way, Displacement node editor is more complicated.

Try using Dponts mdd node and multiplying by a -1 vector in X
The MDD_Pointer node do a delta displacement which is
added to the point position so a scale by -1 is not enough.

Denis,
Many thanks for this solution. I did as suggested in the quote and also rotated the clone 180 so both figures are standing on the floor.
